ERROR 

During installation of the PMA product the following error is displayed

Viewing the log file contains these statements:-

Applying execute package: VC2015Redistributable, action: Install, path: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\FF15C4F5DA3C54F88676E6B44F3314B173835C28\Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable, arguments: '"C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\FF15C4F5DA3C54F88676E6B44F3314B173835C28\Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable" /q /norestart'

Error 0x80070666: Process returned error: 0x666

MORE INFORMATION 

This problem can occur if the Visual C++ 2017 redistributable is already installed on the server where PMA is being installed. 

SOLUTION

On the PMA server, in Control Panel, Go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable and reboot the server.  Next, install PMA and the installation should be successful.

After installation of PMA is complete, if necessary install the Visual C++ 2017 redistributable.
